Most of us know what it is like to face something that feels beyond us—too difficult to fix, too heavy to bear, too final to change. The Easter message is that the resurrection not only changed Jesus’ story, but also changes yours. Most of us have experienced dry places in our lives. It’s easy to lose hope and start believing that change isn’t even possible. In today’s teaching, we look at an ancient vision the prophet Ezekiel had, reminding us that God speaks directly to that feeling—that we’re on our own, forgotten, and stuck with things as they are.
